IOCL Selection Process
The recruitment process includes a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed, for shortlisted candidates, by Group Discussion (GD), Group Task (GT) and Personal Interview (PI).
The final merit calculation gives 85% weightage to CBT, 5% to GD/GT and 10% to the Personal Interview. Candidates must also meet the prescribed minimum qualifying marks at each applicable stage.
Merely qualifying in the CBT does not guarantee shortlisting for GD, GT or PI. Candidates are shortlisted according to their CBT marks for the respective domain.
