Educational Qualification for CPCB Project Posts
The required qualification and experience are different for each position. Scientist-D requires a first-class Master’s degree in Environmental Science/Natural Science or a first-class Bachelor’s degree in specified engineering/technology disciplines along with the prescribed research/publication or technical report requirements and relevant experience.
For Scientist-C, candidates need the prescribed first-class Master’s or Engineering/Technology qualification along with the required publication/report criteria and 5 years of relevant experience. Scientist-B requires the prescribed first-class qualification, a valid GATE score of 90% or above percentile/NET-JRF qualification and 3 years of relevant experience.
The recruitment also includes Data Entry Operator and Field Assistant positions. For Data Entry Operator, a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Science/BCA and qualifying computer and typing skills are required. Field Assistant candidates should have passed 10+2 in Science with at least 55% marks, along with knowledge of water/wastewater sampling and sample preservation.
Age Limit
The upper age limit varies according to the post. It is 50 years for Scientist-D, 45 years for Scientist-C, 35 years for Scientist-B and several other posts, 32 years for Data Entry Operator and 27 years for Field Assistant. Candidates should check the detailed advertisement for the exact eligibility applicable to their selected post.
