Eligibility Criteria for SBI Junior Associate

1. Educational Qualification (As on 31.12.2026)

  • Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

  • Candidates in their final year or semester of graduation may also apply provisionally, provided they produce proof of passing the graduation examination on or before December 31, 2026.

2. Age Limit (As on 01.04.2026)

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years

  • Maximum Age: 28 Years

  • Candidates born between 02.04.1998 and 01.04.2006 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.

Upper Age Relaxation

  • OBC: 3 Years

Salary and Emoluments

  • Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 26,730/- (Rs. 24,050/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates)

  • Total Starting Salary: Approximately Rs. 46,000/- per month in metro cities (inclusive of DA and other allowances).

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of three main phases:

  1. Phase 1: Online Preliminary Exam (100 Marks – 1 Hour)

    • English Language (30 Questions / 30 Marks / 20 Mins)

    • Numerical Ability (35 Questions / 35 Marks / 20 Mins)

    • Reasoning Ability (35 Questions / 35 Marks / 20 Mins)

    • Negative Marking: 1/4th mark deducted for each wrong answer.

  2. Phase 2: Online Main Exam (190 Questions / 200 Marks – 2 Hours 40 Mins)

  3. Phase 3: Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
