Age Limit

• Maximum age: 28 years (as of 05.12.2025)

Age Relaxation:
SC/ST: +5 yrs | OBC (NCL): +3 yrs | PwBD: +10–15 yrs | Dept. candidates: up to 45 yrs

🎓 Educational Qualification

• Full-time Engineering Degree with 65% marks in:

  • Mechanical

  • Electrical

  • Chemical

  • Civil

  • Computer Science / IT

  • Instrumentation

  • Metallurgy

• 55% marks allowed for SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental candidates.

• MCA is accepted for Computer discipline.

🧪 Selection Process for SAIL MTT

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) – 200 Marks

   • Domain: 100 Marks

   • Aptitude: 100 Marks

2. Group Discussion (GD) – 10%

3. Interview – 15%

Minimum Qualifying Percentile in CBT

• UR/EWS: 50 percentile

• SC/ST/OBC/PwBD: 40 percentile

💰 SAIL MTT Salary 2025

Training Period (1 year)

• Basic Pay: ₹50,000 per month

After Training

• Post: Assistant Manager (E1 Grade)

• Pay Scale: ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000

• Approx CTC: ₹16–17 lakh per year
