The recruitment is for 98 apprenticeship seats across its hydro, thermal, and solar power projects in the North Eastern Region. The training period will be one year.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
General Conditions

Applicant must be a resident of North East India.
-
Must possess Aadhaar Card (mandatory) and valid ID proof (PAN/Voter ID/Passport).

Should have completed the qualifying examination not before 31 March 2024.

Minimum marks:
-
40% for Engineering categories.
-
35% for Non-Engineering streams.

Age Limit: 18–28 years as on 01.09.2025 (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-servicemen as per rules).

Selection will be based on merit, determined by marks obtained in the qualifying degree/diploma.

Preference will be given to candidates from the state where the power station is located.

If local candidates are unavailable, other North East region candidates will be considered.

The final list of selected candidates will be published at www.neepco.co.in.
