Eligibility & Age Requirements

Domicile Status: Applicants must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority on or before the cut-off date.
Age Limit (as of 01.01.2026):
- Open Merit (OM): 40 Years.
- SC / ST / RBA / ALC/IB / EWS / OBC: 43 Years.
- Physically Challenged Persons: 42 Years.
- Ex-Servicemen: 48 Years.

Fee Structure & Selection Process

Application Fee:
- General Category: Rs. 600.
- SC, ST, EWS, and PwBD: Rs. 500
- Mode: Fees can only be paid via online modes such as Net Banking, Credit, or Debit cards.
Selection Criteria: Candidates will be selected based solely on the merit obtained in a Written/OMR Objective Type examination.
Negative Marking: There will be a penalty of one-fourth (0.25) marks for every wrong answer.

Important Instructions for Applicants

Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents (Birth Certificate, Domicile, Category, etc.) that must be valid on or before the cut-off date of March 25, 2026.
