IMD Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (Post-wise)

• Project Scientist Posts:
  M.Sc. / B.Tech / B.E. in related disciplines (Physics / Maths / Electronics / Atmospheric Science / Meteorology / Computer Science etc.) with 60% marks.
  Desirable: PhD / M.Tech / ME.

• Scientific Assistant:
  B.Sc. with Physics OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Electronics / IT / Instrumentation.

• Administrative Assistant:
  Bachelor’s Degree + Computer Proficiency Test.

Age Limit (as on application closing date)

• Project Scientist E: 50 Years

• Project Scientist III: 45 Years

• Project Scientist II: 40 Years

• Project Scientist I: 35 Years

• Scientific Assistant / Admin Assistant: 30 Years

👉 Age Relaxation: As per Government of India rules.

✔ 5% increment every 2 years based on performance.
