Selection Process
Qualifying in all four stages is compulsory.

- Stage-III (at INS Chilka): Aadhaar-based identity check, document verification, pre-enrolment medicals, and submission of police verification and other forms
- Stage-IV: verification of original documents with the concerned boards, universities and state authorities
The final merit list is based on Stage-I marks, once you qualify every phase of Stage-II. Assessment test marks are used only to break ties, with the older candidate placed higher first. Male Navik (GD) merit lists are zone-wise and category-wise, and the other lists are all-India and category-wise. Navik (GD) selection for either batch depends on merit, vacancies and administrative need, and candidates cannot claim a particular batch.
