Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Candidates must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India (subject to eligibility certificate requirements).

Candidates must be between 18 and 27 years, i.e., born not before 02-08-1999 and not later than 01-08-2008.

- DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, SSC, and Ministry of Culture): 12th pass in Science stream with Mathematics from a recognized board.
- LDC/JSA and all other DEO posts: 12th pass or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
