Educational Qualification
Administrative Officer – Generalists
Candidates should have a Graduate Degree/Post Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The notification includes disciplines such as Engineering, Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture and Data Science.
Candidates generally need 60% marks, while the minimum is 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. The required qualification must have been completed by 30 June 2026. Working knowledge of computers is also required.
Administrative Officer – Hindi Officers
Candidates applying for Hindi Officer should have a relevant Master’s Degree in Hindi, English or another subject with the specified Hindi/English language requirements. The minimum marks requirement is 60%, or 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, subject to the detailed conditions in the official notification.
Age Limit
The age limit is 21 to 30 years as on 30 June 2026.
The notification specifies age relaxation for eligible categories including SC/ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwBD, eligible ex-servicemen and certain other categories. Candidates should check the official notification for the applicable relaxation.

The Preliminary Examination is of 100 marks and 60 minutes, covering English Language, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.
For Generalists, the Main Examination includes English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness with special reference to the Financial Sector and Computer Knowledge. It also includes a descriptive English test.
The final selection for Generalists is based on the Main Examination and Interview in the ratio of 75:25.
Salary
Selected candidates will be appointed as Administrative Officer (Scale I). The basic pay scale mentioned in the notification starts at ₹82,485, with applicable increments and allowances.
The notification states that the approximate gross pay is ₹1,10,000 per month at metropolitan centres, along with benefits such as gratuity, medical benefits, group personal accident insurance, NPS and leased accommodation as per company rules.
