- General/EWS candidates: Born between 02.01.1994 to 01.01.2009
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Born between 02.01.1991 to 01.01.2009
- SC/ST candidates: Born between 02.01.1989 to 01.01.2009
Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and other eligible categories as per rules.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must possess one of the following minimum qualifications from a recognized university or institute:

For Junior Engineer (Various Posts): Three years Diploma in Engineering OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in relevant disciplines such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or combination of allied streams.

2nd Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-II): 120 minutes duration with 150 questions covering General Awareness, Physics & Chemistry, Basics of Computers and Applications, Basics of Environment and Pollution Control, and Technical Abilities specific to different engineering disciplines. Scribe-eligible candidates get 160 minutes.
