Career Progression and Financial Benefits
The Agniveer Package
Agniveers serve for a duration of four years. During the first year, the customized monthly package is ₹30,000, which progressively increases to ₹40,000 by the fourth year. Upon completion of the four-year tenure, individuals receive the Seva Nidhi package, which amounts to approximately ₹10.04 Lakh. This sum is tax-free and intended to help the individual transition into civilian life or start a business. SSR Medical Pay Scale
Unlike the four-year Agniveer term, SSR Medical sailors are enrolled for a longer duration and fall under the standard Defence Pay Matrix. The Selection Strategy
