🎓 Educational Qualification (as on 01.08.2025)

• Essential: Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Mathematical Economics / Financial Economics with minimum 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized university/institute.

• Desirable: Ph.D. in Economics / Banking / Finance / Statistics / Mathematics will be preferred.

💼 Experience (as on 01.08.2025)

• Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in Research and Analytics.

• Candidates with relevant experience in Banking or NBFCs will have an added advantage.

🧠 Required Skills

• Excellent communication and writing skills.

• Knowledge of Statistical/Analytical packages like STATA, SAS, E-Views, R.

• Familiarity with Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Big Data.

• Proficiency in Mathematical/Statistical model building.

• Knowledge of databases like Bloomberg, Reuters, CEIC desirable.

🧾 Job Profile

• Conduct research, data analysis, econometric modeling, and forecasting for banking indicators.

• Prepare analytical reports, articles, speeches, and background papers for top management.

• Support internal departments with economic insights and contribute to SBI’s research publications (e.g., Eco Wrap).

• Represent SBI on various economic platforms and committees.

💰 Pay Scale

MMGS-II: ₹64,820 – 2,340/1 – 67,160 – 2,680/10 – 93,960
Eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, NPS, LFC, medical and other benefits as per SBI norms.

🧩 Selection Process

1. Shortlisting based on eligibility and experience.

2. Interview (100 Marks) – qualifying marks to be decided by SBI.

3. Final Merit List based on interview marks.
