• Agriculture Production Department – Drivers in Animal Husbandry & Horticulture Departments

• Public Works (R&B) Department – Driver Grade-II

• Transport Department – Drivers in Transport Commissioner & State Motor Garages

👉 Cadres: UT, Divisional (Jammu/Kashmir), and District Cadre
👉 Pay Level: Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200) & Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100)

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:

  • Minimum Matriculation (10th Pass)

  • Maximum 10+2

  • Must possess a valid HGV/PSV Driving License

• Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):

  • Open Merit: 40 years

  • Reserved Categories (SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OBC/EWS): 43 years

  • Ex-Servicemen: 48 years

1. Driving Test (Qualifying in Nature)

2. Written/OMR Based Examination – Objective Type with negative marking (¼ per wrong answer)
